webfact
Picture: Daily News Daily News reported on an apparent suicide attempt by a foreign national being treated at Ratchaburi Hospital in central Thailand. The local police had posted a video on their Facebook page saying "when it's not your time, it's not your time". The man jumped in an alcohol induced crazed state from the fifth floor of the Kanjanapisek building. The media's investigations revealed that the man was not Thai and survived the fall. He fell onto a Ford car and went right through the front windscreen (windshield) and ended up with his legs sticking up into the air. He had apparently gone into the hospital for a ruptured stomach then went crazy after being diagnosed with a cerebral thrombosis during an xray. He ran out of a ward and jumped. Emergency surgery followed but he was none the worse for wear. The media called his survival a miracle. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-09-15 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates The charity Samaritans is available around the clock for people who want to talk.
