With the help of a border patrol they caught the suspects behind a fruit depot in the Thepnimitr area as they were getting ready to cross via a natural route into Cambodia. They said they had paid a gang 10,000 baht each to be moved from Bangkok over the border to work in an online casino, reported Naew Na. Arrested on overstay of 526 days was Lim and Eung, 17, and Ms. Joh, 39, were charged with illegal entry. Making sure infected Burmese and Malaysians do not sneak into country seems far more important than arresting people for trying to leave! But that requires real enforcement.
