Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister shared views with the President of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on the aspiration to build back better the post-COVID-19 world with a balanced approach and five elements of SDGs.

 

On 22 September 2021, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai met with H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, President of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (PGA76), at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

 

The PGA76 expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister for attending the UNGA76 in person, reflecting the fact that the world is returning to normalcy. Both sides exchanged views on various issues including equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines, climate change, and human rights, particularly the promotion of rights and the role of women and youth.
