TimBKK
From my understanding Dee money can only transfer money OUT of Thailand.
KannikaP
I have read that Wise use Dee Money as one of their Thai banks now. Will that make any difference?
Thailand
When I looked at it before i would have to meet one of their agents on a street corner somewhere, is that still the same?

Surasak
I don't need Dee money. A couple of months ago I sent money to the UK via KrungThai and paid 99 Baht for the privilege. Peanuts.

Troy Tempest
2 hours ago, Surasak said: I don't deal with Deemoney so have no idea. Sorry. The reason I asked is because I have a Dee Money account which I have never used and I also have a Krung Thai Bank account. With Dee Money they charge a "Flat Fee" of 250 Thb per Tranaction and their exchange rates are very good for example I checked this morning (13th October) and their rate for GBP was: Guaranteed Rate: 1 GBP = 46.18938 THB or 1 THB = 0.02165 GBP. Obviously they are making some commission on the exchange rate. I would think the bank's rates might not be as good? I cannot check with KTB what rate they would give me as today is a Bank Holiday! I wonder if anyone else has done a comparison?

I would think that it is Dee Money's rate for you to BUY a GBP as they only do 'out of Thailand' transfers.
