Can I use DeeMoney to send GBP from my UK bank to my Bkk Bank arriving the same day as a Foreign Transfer (FTT) ?

Simple question.....

Can I use Deemoney to transfer Sterling To Baht

If so will they be offering maximum forex rate (Transferwise) and clear pricing as per TW ??

We overlapped lol

From my understanding Dee money can only transfer money OUT of Thailand.

I have read that Wise use Dee Money as one of their Thai banks now. Will that make any difference?

When I looked at it before i would have to meet one of their agents on a street corner somewhere, is that still the same?

Are you confusing the subject of transfer of money with something else ?

Switch to DeeMoney and save on every international money transfer.

What load of rubbish,They Don't transfer money INTO Thailand .

That's what most Expats want .     Useless

I don't need Dee money. A couple of months ago I sent money to the UK via KrungThai and paid 99 Baht for the privilege. Peanuts.

How did the exchange rate/overall cost compare to Dee Money please?

I don't deal with Deemoney so have no idea. Sorry.

The reason I asked is because I have a Dee Money account which I have never used and I also have a Krung Thai Bank account.

With Dee Money they charge a "Flat Fee" of 250 Thb per Tranaction and their exchange rates are very good for example I checked this morning (13th October) and their rate for GBP was:  Guaranteed Rate: GBP = 46.18938 THB or 1 THB = 0.02165 GBP.

Obviously they are making some commission on the exchange rate.

I would think the bank's rates might not be as good?

I cannot check with KTB what rate they would give me as today is a Bank Holiday!

I wonder if anyone else has done a comparison?

Why should you, when only an handful countries is usable

I would think that it is Dee Money's rate for you to BUY a GBP as they only do 'out of Thailand' transfers.

Well when I finally leave Thailand I will want to empty my Thai bank account and send the money back to my UK bank.

Because, funnily enough, their list of countries includes those I need to send money to.
