If the screen is a "Touch Screen" then is it ok! If not, is NOT ok because the LCD screen build with very thin glass which cxan easy broken. If you touch a NON-Topuch screen you should do it with care and not hard or strong!

Well, it's stating the obvious, but it depends on how hard your friend is pressing the screen. Just touching it will do nothing more than leave finger prints, excessive pressure will certainly damage it.

Finger marks are difficult to remove, so better not to touch.

I can confirm if you touch the screen to hard it *beeps* it up :o

Anyone know how much approx it is to replace a screen for a Sony Vaio 2 years old, i'm in the UK at the Moment back to LOS next month. In the UK it's around £300 :D hope it's cheaper in LOS.

Any help is greatly appreciated :D

Well, you have to touch the screen to clean it. Softly, softly ...
