No deposits are taken on admission. Unfortunately, if the patient is destitute, the public hospital can not evict. Emergency treatment for vehicle crashes, drug overdoses, misadventure can add up. -Requested procedure performed after deposit is paid. Patient refuses to pay subsequent charges. This occurs infrequently, and is associated with the for Profit clinics who have hidden fees or charge for undeclared services.
