Am I missing something or totally dumb? According to the latest information a fully vaccinated traveller can enter Thailand and spend 1 night in a ASQ, but if the same traveller wants to enter Phuket they need to spend 7 nights in an ASQ. ???????????? Please tell me i am missing something.

You're missing the type of entry - there's 3 now. If you qualify for "quarantine free" you can do so in Phuket.

Depends on the country they arrive from, on the approved list or not.

Dates maybe what you're missing.  The new regulations don't start until November 1st,  Phuket's regs are the current ones, aren't they?
