O Visa Bank Deposit

Hi All,

I am now planning to apply for the Non Imm O Visa based on marriage.

 

With the Thb400k bank deposit can I choose whether to either fixed deposit, savings or current account?

If Fixed Deposit, I would appreciate if can anybody please advise an account with decent interest.

A current (aka checking) account will not be accepted.

A fixed deposit account will be accepted if it allows you can do withdrawal without a delay or a penalty other than loss of interest by most immigration office. There are few odd offices that will not accept them.

A savings account is what most office will expect to see.

Even a fixed deposit account wont pay much interest but better than nothing.

Thanks, as you say, better than nothing. Do they have fixed deposit accounts over there whereby you can draw the interest if required?
