A video posted on YouTube from Thai national TV showed Saturday night violence between two armed gangs involved in a gunfight last Wednesday night.

It happened in Phoraiwan sub-district, Muang district of the south/central province of Phetchaburi.

Each gang had about ten members.

Many were injured as shots rang out after fistfights had turned to shooting.

Naew Na reported that Phetchaburi police had arrested four local men aged 22, 23, and two aged 25 plus one man from Suphanburi aged 23.

They were all named in warrants citing attempted murder and weapons offences.

Vehicles and guns have been taken into evidence after they were seized.

There was evidence at the scene that at least 60 shots were fired from .38, .380 and .45 weapons.

Many injured were taken to two hospitals after the shootout by a klong.

The gangs were named as Nalaap and Rai Kluay who were having a feud that carried on on Facebook resulting in a meeting that turned to violence.

The latest arrests followed several made earlier as a result of the video evidence.
