Around 100,000 truckers stopped hauling goods on Monday to protest against rising diesel prices, the Land Transport Federation of Thailand (LTFT) said.

The LFTF warned the government that they will stage more intense demonstrations on November 16 if the diesel prices are not capped at 25 baht per litre for a year as demanded.

Transport operators nationwide under the federation have halted delivering via trucks around 20 percent from total, said LTFT chairman Apichart Pairoongrueng.

Oh well, life goes on and gasohol 95 is 40 baht now. Happy days.

Wow, more expensive than Benzine 95.

Strike away chaps, you're already protected from the worst of the fuel cost by the current 30 Baht cap.

GF send on a weeks mission up north: Check.
