Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health is to seek cabinet approval this week for the procurement of two anti-viral drugs, Pfizer’s Paxlovid and Merck’s Molnupiravir, for the treatment of people in early infection with COVID-19.

Dr. Attasit Srisubat, an advisor to the Department of Medical Services, said that he expects the two oral treatments to be available in Thailand in December or January, after the completion of the Thai Food and Drug Administration registration process.

He also said that Thai health officials are due to meet with representatives of Pfizer’s Thailand representatives this Friday to discuss details of the procurement, as he stressed the government’s intention to procure effective anti-rival drugs to treat COVID-19 as soon as possible, as early access to them will help in the containment of the pandemic.

Like Nike, "Just Do It"

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Thailand has been " Talking the Talk" about the procurement of these medications for nearly a Month now.

What is the problem ?

If you really want to purchase this stuff, just get on and do it.
