Visa Exemption Issue(?) and Extension Advice.

I recently arrived into Thailand in mid October and was only given a 30 day exemption and I had to do a 11 day quarantine.

Is this normal or was there a mistake? Most people receive a 45 day exemption prior to this.

 

One way or the other, I am arriving at the conclusion of that exemption and will need to get an extension while I await the processing of my longterm visa.

Should I apply using the TM7 or is there a new way to do this in 2021? (I haven't done it since 2020)

OP, be aware that if in Bangkok you will be obtaining extension at MTT and not CW.
