webfact
Picture: Daily News The chief of the Thai Muang police station in Phangnga in southern Thailand got a report of a mysterious package left outside, reported Daily News yesterday. The EOD bomb disposal team were called amid fears that it might be a bomb. But there were no explosives. The fertilizer sack did, however, contain a war weapon, long shotgun, Thai adapted gun and handgun as well as rounds of ammunition. Picture: Daily News Pol Col Weerayuth Sitthirattanakul said that his men had been cracking down on weapons' ownership ahead of a local election. The sack was probably left by someone who didn't want to be caught with the contents. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-11-13 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates Get your business in front of millions of customers who read ASEAN NOW with an interest in Thailand every month - email [email protected] for more information
