Foreignheight6foot2
Hi all. Im on my first non o wife extension. Have been here 14 years but would get a multiple entry every year making land border crosses at swannahket each time. Normally, because its 90 days, you have about a week left out of the year and you can do one more border stamp for 90 days, this means you are able to stay outside of the visa validity of a year and of course renew or extend. Is this the same for 90 day reporting, ie Will it extend outside the visa validity of 1 year like with multiple entry or not? Thanks for your reply Edited November 13, 2021 by Foreignheight6foot2
Upnotover
A 90 day report has no bearing on your extension of stay. Doing a 90 day report at the end of your one year will not extend it. You need to renew your extension of stay in the 30 days(or 45 perhaps) before it expires.
MJCM
^ +1 For example. Extension of Stay Marriage ends in January but your 90 day report is not DUE till February. IF you DO NOT extend you Extend your Extension of Stay in January, then you will be in OVERSTAY in February. Extension of Stay expiration DATE is the MOST important date to look for. 90 Day Report date overdue is minor and only you have to pay a fine when going over it a couple of weeks (more then 7 days), but when overstaying on your Extension of Stay (NOT Extending it) you can get BANNED from Thailand! DrJack54
OP, your very confused. The ME (marriage) that you previously obtained from Laos is completely different animal to non O with 12 month extension. Even if you buy a multi reentry for that extension. Your permission of stay that you have in your passport will need to be extended prior to expiry. Exiting and re-entering Thailand just prior to expiry will not increase your current date. Best to think of 90 day report as having nothing to do with your extension. They are required when your about to have been in Thailand for 90 continuous days. If you at any point exit and reenter your 90 day report clock starts again. Edited November 13, 2021 by DrJack54

crouchpeter
A question ❓ Can you still get your non-O marriage from a consulate overseas? Because you have to leave Thailand every 90 days, which is impractical, I assume these visas are not being issued!!!
