Dear all,

As a British citizen aged 30, I have had 3 Tourist Visa's since November 2005 each with 2 entries at a time. I have utilized the 30day extensions on each entry as one would to stay here 90days.

Now that my Tourist Visa is expiring, I would like to to either apply for another 2xentry Tourist Visa or apply for a Non-O Multiple visa valid for 1 year. I have a Thai girlfriend here since November 2005 too.

I had an email from Hong Kong Thai Consulate and they said because I been here so long already on a tourist visa, I may not get another one. However I saw on ThaiVisa.com that Penang is one of the best places to go to apply, I have applied here before for a Tourist Visa with no problems getting 2 entries. But as of from September 2006 the rule for number of entries changed to just one entry per application. And with applying for the 'O' Class visa, its only 1 entry too for newbies.

So, where do I go? Hull in England? Well thats my final thought but want some advice about which place to apply. I heard that Hull is easier and is possible to apply for Non 'O' Visa based on several reasons, such as; visiting family/friends, seek employment, marriage, and other reasons that other consulates in SE Asia don't seem to be so happy about giving a Non-O based on another reason other than marriage.

Anyway, I have about until the 21st June to make a choice. Again, I am British aged 30 with a current Tourist Visa.

Thanks.

Andy

You can probably obtain a single entry tourist visa in the area without much trouble. You are not likely to obtain any kind of non immigrant O visa on the basis of a GF in the area. And if you are thinking a multi entry your mentioned choice is probably best.
