The proactive testing and vaccination campaign in Yala is contributing to the improving COVID-19 situation in the southern province. Community isolation centers for patients are planning to shut down after most of the patients have already recovered.

Thailand on Tuesday (November 16) reported 5,947 new COVID-19 cases, 7,943 recoveries and 62 additional deaths over the past 24 hours.
