My friend is doing 0-extension on Friday for the first time. Is his TM 6 enough to show address? He has no yellow book. But stay in the house they own together. Arrived about 2 months ago with O-visa spouse - but want to apply for retirement extension. Is TM 6 enough. Or is TM 30 or TM 28 or whatever needed?

A TM6 departure card does not have your address on it.

A TM30 report will need to be submitted. His wife would complete it and attach signed copies of the house book and her ID card to it.

    OP, your friend is married, however you mention extension based on retirement.

    He choose not to obtain extension based on marriage? 

    Has he organized the financial requirements? Money in Bank.
