Pattaya police set up checkpoints for drunk driving to prevent road accidents during Loy Krathong festival

Pattaya – The Pattaya City Traffic Police set up a checkpoint for drunk driving last night in North Pattaya to prevent road accidents during the Loy Krathong festival and warned drivers that many more checkpoints were coming over the holiday weekend.

Heroin and ecstasy smuggling gang arrested at housing estate near Bangkok

Metropolitan police chief Pol Lt-gen Samran Nuanma announced the arrest of four drug smugglers who brought heroin and ecstasy from the north east to Pathum Thani north of the Thai capital Bangkok.

Prominent Pattaya business owners continue to call for Pattaya to get a “Phuket Style” exemption, ending Pattaya alcohol sales ban at restaurants

Prominent Pattaya business operators in the nightlife, entertainment, and bar sector have continued to call for support from local, regional, and national Thai government leaders after their businesses have been essentially frozen by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, after previous announcements that the nightlife, bar, and entertainment sector would not be allowed to open until after the holiday season in 2022.

As Phuket reopens, officials on alert for illegal migrant workers

PHUKET: Phuket officials are asking employers with any migrant workers not vaccinated to bring them to any of the five government hospitals on the island to receive vaccination injections.
