Over the previous 24 hours, 7,007 tests were completed around the nation, with 1,323 new cases verified, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. Across the country, there were 1,318 cases of community spread and five imported cases. New Deaths A 72-year-old woman from Kao Yord Village in Sisattanak District, Vientiane Capital, died in Mittaphap Hospital yesterday evening. She had high blood pressure, renal problems, and diabetes. She had not received the Covid-19 vaccine. A 25-year-old male died in the hospital yesterday evening in Papoua Village, Namtha District, Luang Namtha Province. He had anemia, Thalassemia, and had had surgery ten years prior. He wasn't immune to Covid-19 since he hadn't been immunized. A 70-year-old man from Huayhong Village, Chanthabouly District, Vientiane Capital, died at Setthathirath Hospital yesterday evening. He had high blood pressure and gout. He wasn't immune to Covid-19 since he hadn't been immunized. A 76-year-old man died this morning in Khokxay Village, Hatsayfong District, Vientiane Capital. He was afflicted with asthma. He was entirely protected against Covid-19.
