This home video made by US Actor/Comedian Will Ferrell has created a storm of controversy lately. Very funny. What do you think? Click on "The Landlord."

I didn't think it funny or clever. It reminds me of a lot of the "funniest home movies" that people think are funny as kids get pummeled with animate and inanimate objects.

Farrel will get lots of publicity out of this and his profile will rise in peoples awareness but I think this video is at best exploitation and at worse abuse

Farrel has defended this, as it was his kid, saying that, for example, when the camera was focused on him, his daughter wasn't present, but later the film was cut to look as though she was. Some child psychologists have said even so, it could be damaging to the child. The debate rages on. BTW, Farrell doesn't need to raise his profile - he made $20Mil for each of his last 3 films.

What complete rubbish, Im sure children have managed to cope with much more "damaging" things than a bit of early age acting.
