A 38-year-old female motorbike rider has been pronounced dead at the scene after she crashed into a truck in Si Racha this week.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident earlier this week in Nong Kham. They arrived at the scene near a gas station to find the truck and the damaged motorbike on the road.

The body of Ms. Sirinya Plodjaikwang, 38, was found near the truck. The truck driver, who was uninjured, Mr. Manas Surahit, 37, was waiting for police at the scene.

I am often overtaken when on my bike by another who is obviously engrossed in their phones... and that includes food delivery guys. The length of time their eyes appear to be off the road, and obviously they ride at speed, makes the hairs rise on my neck.

Just another tragic but expected daily occurrence in Thailand.

rip   very sad , maybe on the phone as norm for thais !!!
