Popular Post webfact
The opposition Pheu Thai party will seek a ruling from the Constitutional Court about the premiership of General Prayut Chan-o-cha, the incumbent prime minister of Thailand. Pheu Thai party leader Dr. Cholanan Srikaew said yesterday (Wednesday) that the party is seeking an interpretation of Section 158 (para. 3) of the Constitution, which states that the prime minister shall not hold office for more than eight years, whether or not in consecutive terms. Cholanan said the possibility that Prime Minister Prayut may dissolve parliament and call a snap election before the end of his term is of no relevance in the context of this request to the court. Popular Post edwinchester
Prayut's eight years are up next year. I fully expect a ruling that although he was appointed Prime Minister in 2014 the eight years only came into effect with the 2019 election to avoid that unwanted fact. 3

Therefore, any said past could be erased and all become nil and void......paving any sort of path they wish to design. Rewrite and manipulate the already bogus constitution and federal mandates as it befits their rule. Common historical precedent. It's not as such instances are rare - on the contrary, the sitting standard cycle has been in practice for 80-90 years.
