A suspect wanted for reportedly intruding and stealing gold necklaces at a department store on Saturday was arrested in Pathum Thani, local police reported today, November 25th.

The shocking incident occurred on Saturday evening when an unknown gunman approached the gold shop located on the second floor of Central Plaza Department Store in Khon Kaen, stealing multiple pieces of expensive gold jewelry.

The local police announced that the expanded investigation over the weekend had led to the identification of the alleged thief who had reportedly escaped the northern province to Pathum Thani province in the central part of Thailand. The suspect, whose name was withheld by the police, has now been taken back for investigation in Khon Kaen province.
