Number of new business registrations rises by forty-five percent

The number of new businesses reached 11,902 this month, up 44.6 percent from last month, indicating a recovery from the fourth Covid-19 wave starting late April.

 

They registered a total capital of VND149.9 trillion, up 38 percent.

 

Registered employee numbers hit 76,600, up 30 percent.

 

In the first 11 months, 105,600 new businesses were registered, down 15 percent year-on-year.

 

A total 52,100 business suspended operations in the period, up 17.3 percent year-on-year.

This means an average month saw 13,300 companies joining the market, and nearly 9,700 leaving.
