Photo by The World and Vietnam Report Russia and Vietnam have agreed to continue their cooperation in the oil and gas sector. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday told his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc that his country would continue to expand the operations of its oil and gas enterprises in Vietnam's continental shelf in accordance with international law, including the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). The two leaders were meeting in the Russian capital Moscow where Phuc is on an official visit, according to a press release by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
