Better be a bit more rapid with these boosters, not like they've got no warning from other countries on whats to come. May want to do something about the Provinces that are still under 40% fully vaccinated aswell. UK considering 2 week circuit breaker lockdown despite its successful booster campaign.
Popular Post ThailandRyan
Was told by my GP this morning that I should wait and get a Moderna booster to go with my two AZ jabs, and since I am heading to the states in a few weeks to do it there. I asked about getting a booster of AZ due to having an autoimmune disorder and he said he would get back to me on that. Seems that the J&J vaccine has hit issues as a 1 vaccine shot and now after 2 months is requiring a booster. The FDA in the states is unsure with Omicron what the best foot forward at this point is but they are saying boosters are needed. Attached article. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/coronavirus-covid-19-update-fda-actively-working-investigate-address-potential-impacts-omicron The agency has previously limited the scope of use of certain monoclonal antibodies depending on variants circulating in certain areas, updated fact sheets for health care providers with information about how known variants impact certain therapeutics, and communicated with the public about tests affected by viral mutations. We anticipate having more information from the ongoing evaluation regarding if and how well the current vaccines work against this variant in the next few weeks. If a modification to the current vaccines is needed, the FDA and companies will work together to develop and test such a modification quickly. On preliminary review, we believe high-volume polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and antigen (rapid) tests widely used in the U.S. show low likelihood of being impacted and continue to work. However, the FDA will continue to closely review and adjust course as needed. At this time, the current vaccines remain highly effective at preventing COVID-19 and serious clinical outcomes associated with a COVID-19 infection, including hospitalization and death. Additionally, currently available data from our international partners and vaccine manufacturers that has been evaluated by the FDA, suggests that an additional booster shot following the completion of a primary vaccination (six months for Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna and two months for Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)) provides further protection against a COVID-19 infection.

Popular Post Cake Monster
Only 93 reported cases from within Prisons today. I am sure that I read a report that the Prison Riots in the Prison on Krabi were as a result of 400 Covid Infected prisoners not being separated from the other inmates who were at the time the riot started were all negative. This appears to be the second large outbreak within a Prison during the previous week where the numbers are not added to the Daily totals of Infections. How many more Prisons are infested. Quite a few me thinks, as the conditions the Prisoners are kept in allows for Covid to be rampant 2

Kadilo
Good news this thread remains so quiet as it means there are currently no big break outs of local Omicron infections and no increase in imported reported cases for a few days remaining in single figures. Latest figures from worldometer show a continued fall in both infections and deaths over the past day at 18% and 7% respectively. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/weekly-trends/#weekly_table 88 Thailand 24,717 30,139 -18% 353 215 232 -7% 3 70,055,
