At least seven people dead in a fatal accident in Kandal province’s Kien Svay district

At least seven people died in a fatal traffic accident in Kandal province’s Kien Svay district when a pick-up vehicle hit four motorbikes.

The accident occurred at 12:30 am on Sunday when a speeding Toyota Tundra collided with four motorbikes, killing seven riders and passengers along road 110 in Kampong Svay commune’s Prek Doung village.

The dead were identified as Ros Bunly, 22, Vath Phanith, 21, Prum Mesa, 17, Phon Sopheara, 21, and Bo Bros Vin, 19. Two others have not yet been identified.
