Cambodia deports another 25 Thai migrants who had crossed the border illegally to work

Cambodian authorities detained and arranged the  repatriation of 25 illegal Thai  migrant who had entered Cambodia illegally to work. The repatriation and handover was  held a handover ceremony on the Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Bridge at the Poipet-Khlong Leuk Krom international border crossing.

 

Director of the Department of Internal Security and Brigadier General Eng Ly Hour said that on December 22 that all 25 Thai’s, including 11 females were  detained  in a rented building east of San Ho Borey in Kilo 4 Village, Sangkat Phsar Kandal, Poipet City.

 

Since November 15, there have four deportation ceremonies involving illegal Thai migrant workers. The first was on  November 15, where 66 illegal Thai immigrants, including 24 females wee deported, the second was on  November 24,  when 103 people were detained and deported after being detained in Thmor Da,
