Restaurants Report 100% Earnings Increase From Last Year

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Thai Restaurant Association has reported a 100 percent increase in restaurant revenue over the New Year holiday period compared to the same period last year.

More than 2,000 road accidents with 300 deaths reported in Thailand so far in total on New Year’s “Seven Deadly Days of driving”

Thailand’s Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) today, January 4th, reported a total of 2,488 road accidents, with 300 deaths and 2,471 injuries on the Seven Deadly Days of driving during the New Year season, from December 29th to January 3rd.

144 Omicron Cases Recorded in Phuket, Health Office Urges Business Cooperation

Coastal farmers call for compensation after being affected by freshwater flood

Coastal farmers in the Klong Dan sub-district are suffering as the government released freshwater into the sea, causing the deaths of aquatic animals raised in more than 4,000 rai of ponds, more than 20 million baht in damage, 140 farmers affected, but no agencies have come to help.

Massive Antigen Tests at Chiang Mai Provincial Hall

CHIANG MAI, Jan 4 (TNA) – About 1,000 officials who worked at the provincial hall  underwent antigen tests in a bid to contain COVID-19 while the communicable disease committee of the northern province postponed onsite learning at local schools.
