RedArmy
Yes chaps, i can see there might be future complications with using an agent in this manner - I was just replying to the OP question - Based on what the Visa agent told me in Phuket. I too am very sceptical as to future 90 day reporting, ect ect ect. I am complicating to going down this route but not sure which is the best route for me to take ? Not really sure what you're referring to...paying 14k and sending your passport somewhere; why not just go to Immigration and pay 1900 baht to renew if you meet the financials? Paying more is for people who don't measure up.
bokningar
So in reality there isn't any agent in Phuket, just a middle man sending pp to an agent somewhere?

Paying more is for people who don't measure up. 14K is the price if not meeting the financials. I have several friends that did this. Agents in Bkk or Pattaya are far cheaper than Phuket.
MajorTom
Also: I had agent assisted visas in the past issued in random province and later did TM30, 90 day reports and RCs in my home province. No problems whatsoever. Edited January 7, 2022 by MajorTom tpo

Be aware that if you get a visa extension stamp from a far away immigration office, Phuket can do difficult when applying for a new extension in Phuket at a later stage. Many people where refused a new extension and being told to get the new extension again at the far away office as they don't trust the extension.
