lazerguy
Hello, I will be in Bangkok two weeks before starting school at Chulalongkorn University. I have no specific plans for those two weeks. I wanna know if I should wait until I get there and look for an apartment during my two weeks or if I should start looking now. Any help, links or tips are appreciated. I don't know how hard it is to find a decent place for 4-5 months. Thanks!
ekjitra
The best way is personally visit or have friend who knows your preference screen the apartment for you. In Bangkok, there are plently of apartments for rent, however many apartment (below BTH10,000) might need a trade off which is only you can decide. Let start with target areas first, then choose the apartments from these websites. Many of the apartments accept 3-4 months for the short term rent, if you are not sure it is really the best fit for you. www.thai4rent.com www.easyhorpak.com (B.100 subscribe fee to access landlord information) www.9apartment.com www.bangkokpost.co.th property classified section Hope you can find the apartment within 2 weeks.
