World Blood Donor Day - 14th June

I noticed whilst I was in BKK this week an advert for 'world blood donor day' on the 14th of June. The advertisement was in Thai so I did not understand most of the text on it but I wondered if there was anywhere in Pattaya supporting the initiative. I checked the website for this http://www.wbdd.org/ but Thailand is not mentioned as far as I could see.

Given the recent incident at BHP hospital where they claim that they moved a critically injured patient to another hospital an hour away because they did not have enough of his blood type (and note they are the main emergency hospital and trauma center in Pattaya) I think it would be a good initative to support world blood donor day and give blood locally.
