lopburi3
On paper you can import a firearm but it must have a permit issued by the police first so in effect don't believe it is too viable if you are not living here and a member of the police shooting club. But have never checked closely so maybe someone has a positive experience?
sevinnow
Unless your firearm is something special and it's value is very very high don't do it, the paper work involved is horrendous. Why not join a local shooting club here and go through the normal proceedures to register a firearm you buy "legally". One more thing you need to be on a non "b" visa at least and have your thai firearm licence stamped every 90 days with the police, which in it's self creates suspistion ith the the boys in brown ! Good Luck Sev
