Former Attorney General casts doubt on policeman's Ducati after death of Dr Kratai

Former attorney general Trakoon Winitnaphak went online to raise suspicions about the big bike being ridden by a police lance corporal when a doctor was killed on a zebra crossing in Bangkok on Friday outside a hospital in Phayathai.

 

Trakoon hoped that reports that the Ducati did not have a licence plate and was allowed to be used by the young cop after being taken into evidence on another matter proved to be fake news, reported Siam Rath. 

 

This assertion was refuted by a met police spokesman who said that the bike was bought legally second hand but the name hadn't been changed yet.

 

The Ducati is being stored at Phayathai police station.

 

Cop Norawich Buadok has entered the monkhood.

 

Dr Waralak Suphawatrajariyakul's funeral is today.

thats the thai way, go out and kill people then go into the monkhood so you get off, this piece of garbage should be removed from the police force and locked up , bike seized and destroyed as well as issued a big fine but it will be swept under the carpet as per usual. Shows how pathetic thai police really are when they are the ones breaking the law and killing innocent people, in front of a hospital and this idiot still didnt slow down, says it all

Why did as Senior Police Officer come out and declare just after the Accident, that things such as Motorbikes Etc, were the proceeds of Crime that were confiscated by the Police and " used " by them.

Trakoon " hoped " that it was all fake News

Over the many years living in Thailand I've seen and read about the most horrific road accidents. Sadly, things never change, never improving road safety.

Why would this case change anything? Is anyone concerned about this among the hierarchy? People get killed every day and I fail to see how this one incident will change society or governance.

Doubtful it is his last resort, I'm afraid. To think of all the people the Dr. could have helped in her lifetime and he is all about helping himself. Years of education down the drain by a guy who couldn't or wouldn't even learn to ride a bike properly.

wife informed me tonight that the cop that killed the doctor actually had a doctors  appointment with her later that day,  also said his father is a cop as well, just hope he is put under the bus and its not whitewashed like they usually do
