It's difficult for me to understand why Trump would not insist on his entourage being protected from the threat, by dispersing them to alternative forms of transport, such as commercial aircraft. As it was, they were sitting ducks if the threat materialized. To me, that's an abandonment of leadership responsibility. Perhaps Leavitt saw it the way I do.
