COVID Only Insurance - All Asia

Featured Replies

I am in Thailand and have been for 11 years. I am going to start traveling in Asia and need COVID insurance that covers at least Thailand and the Philippines. I'll keep my 1yr retirement visa here with multiple reentry. Not insured now, but expect would need to return.

Web sites only seem to cover 1 country (Thailand) and if I search specific for Philippines, I can only find insurance for leaving the Philippines. I am from USA but not a resident there, so the USA insurance sites will not sell to me and have extreme rates anyway.

Anybody have a good lead on all-Asia COVID insurance bought in Thailand?

covid only policies are not worthless from 15.02, but insurance companies started to apply those stringer rules from 10.02.

get good health insurance, minimum $50k so some 1.6mln.

premier plus from pacific cross 3mln bht for some 40k or with 300k deductible around 20k per year. Covers worldwide and all medical conditions (including accident, which you can cheaply upgrade to 1mln bht).

relay on boosters before each wave in hope for a mild infection, for self-quarantine

Have a chat with the guy from AA insurances Pattaya (Mr Wim). He can give you up to date info. Just do a Google search.....
