Was surprised that are any flights at all. Bangkok no way and to my opinion will never happen. 90 miles linear distance. 120 miles on the road. There are some from Udon Thani. I meant which airport is it better to fly to in order to take a taxi to Hua Hin, i.e which is nearer, more convenient. A service that I used repeatedly to Pattaya is Tom Taxi. To Pattaya it is 1000 Baht. To Hua Hin they want 2200 Baht. That's a superb price(1600) considering that road & the time it will take - I used to do it every few weeks from R2/R3. Ok on the way down early - on the way back, I've taken 6/7 hrs(don't come back on a Sunday ). The road is a nightmare with trucks ????
