February 14, 20224 yr The airport bus runs twice a day from Swampy if it fits with your flight times otherwise a pre booked taxi should be around 1,600 Baht.
February 14, 20224 yr I could be wrong but the only flight to Hua Hin that I can find is from Chiang Mai. Maybe three flights a week. Was surprised that are any flights at all. Bangkok no way and to my opinion will never happen. 90 miles linear distance. 120 miles on the road. Edited February 14, 20224 yr by KhunBENQ

I meant which airport is it better to fly to in order to take a taxi to Hua Hin, i.e which is nearer, more convenient.

Distance from both is not much different, but more convenient/more options is Suvarnabhumi (as @YorkshireTyke has written).

A service that I used repeatedly to Pattaya is Tom Taxi. To Pattaya it is 1000 Baht. To Hua Hin they want 2200 Baht. I remember from the past that Hua Hin was always much more than Hua Hin (distance approx 220 km vs 120 km). https://www.tomtaxiservice.com/

Look on FB for Gary de Graag and send him message with your flight details, driver always waiting at the gate at Swampy. Or look any Hua Hin FB forum or sales group, many available for no more than 1600 Baht. Good luck.

That's a superb price(1600) considering that road & the time it will take - I used to do it every few weeks from R2/R3. Ok on the way down early - on the way back, I've taken 6/7 hrs(don't come back on a Sunday ). The road is a nightmare with trucks ???? I've always paid more than that from Rama 2 & Rama 3 Central area before I started driving down.

February 21, 20224 yr I would seriously consider confiscating the drivers mobile phone before you set off and offer to buy him/her coffee and cake every 90 minutes of the journey in exchange.
