jsirin
Hi Hope someone here can give a few good tips ???? I'm struggling to find a stock broker where i can trade mostly US stocks as well as ETF's from Thailand. I'm Thai resident and all but it seems not to be easy to find a good stock broker living in Thailand where i can deposit money from my Thai account and also get money back from the broker. My bank is SCB, i would prefer to use them. But there could also be companies like Wise (former Transferwise) Basically im stuck ???? Mostly in how to deposit money and how to get them back. Banks here in Thailand are not used to this. But also in which Broker to recommend using here in Thailand. I looked at Interactive Brokers, TD American trade, Etoro Does anyone here, who is or has been in the same situation - and found a way in it ?. Would be appreciated? Br. rimmae2
It is possible to trade in US stocks with SCB, but not I think if you are a US citizen. This may be a BOT regulation. Have you asked SCB?
malathione
http://www.poems.in.th/ That is Phillip Capital, their Thai branch. I've used both them as well as Maybank. Phillip has the lowest transaction commission I could find amongst the local stockbrokers where the US market is concerned. The software for both of them is equally clunky. Funding and withdrawals to/from local bank accounts works. I have yet to find a local broker that allows US equities options trading, however.
