Popular Post samuijimmy
A little gem of a beach on Koh Phangan.... I thought I knew just about all the knocks and crannies on KP.... but discovered this one this afternoon, between Seethanu and Haad Salad! Turn down here! Secret beach restaurant sums it up! South end looking north... Apparently the snorkeling off this point is supposed to be quiet good, I did not have time to try! Obviously a few people have discovered a secret hide away! a place to seek out when on KP! Beautiful! !!! Very friendly and helpful staff there too! Mole
Man, you've been really driving across the island today. That's why I get so annoyed by people complaining about chairs on the beach in Lamai or Chaweng. There's bloody lots of other beaches around the island. samuijimmy
If any one has wondered what the floats have been doing going around Samui, over the past few days.... Wonder no more! It's been a part of the annual "Vegetable Festival".... now taking place in Nathon, October 16 to 24.... Anyone wanting to see a bit of Thai Culture can head to Nathon water front ... *.... afternoons and evenings probably best... I think every Wat around Samui is represented with some very impressive looking floats... Worth a go look see for some thing a bit different! with some Traditional Thai Dancing... Don't wait until this happens to you!

Moving on! Part one... Angthong National Marine Park.... it's another world.... No roads or traffic noise! and consists of about 40 islands.... stops at three or four depending on the tour. Day boat trips from Samui, Phangan and Toa... Interesting three boats went from Samui, to Koh Toa yesterday, and only one to the marine park, with the company I used ... It's about a one hour ride before first stop.... Leaving Ban Rak Samui First stop, for snorkeling in crystal clear waters... Stunning scenery! Here are a few more to enjoy! another way to see them is by long-tail boat, I am not sure which company! Notice every one is wearing life jackets on the open boats! No 7 11's cars or motorbikes! Almost back to Samui, although that is Koh Phangan is the back!
