wellred
Where abouts on Koh Samui are these temples and how far from Lamai? Edited July 15, 2015 by wellred
Popular Post philthebook
Where abouts on Koh Samui are these temples and how far from Lamai? These 2 Buddhas are in the same complex on a hill at Laem Sor (not too far from Lamai) and about 1 mile away from the main Laem Sor Pagoda (photo is above, next to the ocean) As you are driving down the side road towards Laem Sor Pagoda you need to take a right turning at a sign the says Chedi Top Hill, follow this road around to the left then up a steep hill and you are there. Directions to Laem Sor Pagoda and information about it are here: http://www.samuitimes.com/laem-sor-pagoda/ Well worth a visit Edited July 16, 2015 by philthebook
wellred
http://www.samuitimes.com/laem-sor-pagoda/[/url] Well worth a visit Thanks for that! I will definitely add this to my itinerary. I wonder if it's possible to hire a car/taxi and see in a day big Buddha/wat plai laem and this temple too? No problem, rent a car and you will have plenty of time. If you like temples, don't miss Wat Samret.

There was a one day school event yesterday, attended by just about every school I think. Held near the reservoir area in the south west of the island ....
