VFS Bangkok Wait Time for New Passport (UK)?

Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get a new passport in Bangkok? - Current one is full

Gov.UK says allow up to 11 weeks, likely it would be quicker than that but probably best not to plan any travels for that time.

Interesting,

• OK current situation is that my visa expires in around 28 days. 
• Current passport is 100% full.
• Trying to figure out if its possible to stay in Thailand or If I would need to fly home and renew my passport.

Current options:

• Apply, hope it comes on time, extend visa
• Check if immigration can somehow extend me - My passport is 100% full, no space what so ever - Theres some blank pages for emergency contact details etc but I don't think they can be used for stamps
• Apply, overstay, pay fine, get visa - Risky?
• Fly to the UK, stay for a few months, renew passport, visit friends

Any thoughts? I know I'm stupid for leaving it till the very last minute ????
