Kong Khao Pattaya Festival is a subtle, traditional way to declare the start of Songkran or the Thai New Year. As for this year, this practice has been announced to take place on April 17th at Wat Nong Yai temple and again on April 20th at Lan Pho park in the hope of promoting local, cultural tourism and upholding local, traditional sports.
