Extended Stay

Featured Replies

I'm not to sure on the visa rules of thailand but as i know it a holiday which i am going to obtain is 30 days, my question is what is the best route of action if i want to stay in Thailand longer than the 30 days.

Is it best to get a visa before i go , if so how is ths done.Or is it best to extend my visa once i arrive again if this is the case how is this done.

Sorry if i sound like i'm asking people to teach me how to suck eggs but i want to be right before i travel.

If you get a tourist visa at home before you leave, you can stay for 60 days, and if you want to, you can extend that by another 30 days when you are here. That 30 day permit can only be extended by 10 days.
