Unusual Helicopter Traffic?

Last night for the first time in ages we had a military helicopter pass by our house. Today, two came by within 10 minutes of each other. Now, of course helicopters land and take off all the time in Bangkok, but this is the first time I have seen helicopters pass over our house in a long, long time, so I am assuming that they are landing somewhere that they don't typically visit. No need to panic, but I wonder if it is related to all the political issues that are going on at the moment.
