Police and rescue services went to Salalai sub-district in Sam Roi Yod, Prachuap Khiri Khan after a boy out swimming found a car in a klong by a weir beneath his feet.

When rescue divers hauled out the vehicle it was discovered to be a Nissan March. There was considerable damage to the windshield in particular and the windows had been wound down.

Dead inside curled up on the rear seat was 43 year old Khomsak from Chonburi, reported Thai Rath

The body had been dead between one and two days and decomposition was setting in.

No locals were reported missing.

Absolutely shocking ! Some very serious 'pointing' education needed for the crowd

A crowd indeed, as it should have been treated as a possible "crime scene" they should have all been told to go home.

That's OK.

Maybe the victim was just resting and fell asleep when the car suddenly and inexpected rolled slowly into the klong.

Bad Karma.
