Investment Limit Raised for EEC Power Projects

DDC Eyes Relaxation of Home Quarantine Rules Starting Next Month

BANGKOK (NNT) - Starting next month, the home isolation period for high-risk individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 cases is expected to be reduced from a week to five days.

Drunk driving spikes on second day of seven dangerous days during Songkran

The Department of Probation reported today, April 13th, of 923 cases of drunk driving on the second day of seven dangerous days with a major year-to-year increase in drunk driving.

Thais have braved surging COVID-19 infections to celebrate the annual Songkran festival, the traditional Thai New Year, in a joyful yet subdued manner and without the normal excited water splashing and powder smearing.

Thailand’s anti-establishment groups celebrate Songkran at Democracy Monument

Anti-establishment demonstrators celebrated Songkran on Bangkok’s Ratchadamnoen Avenue this afternoon (Wednesday) with a political message. They poured water on the Democracy Monument, drenched each other with buckets of water and played with water guns, all in defiance of the Government’s anti-COVID no water splashing restriction.
