Replacing 10 inch Samsung Tab screen cost?

Our youngest son sat on his Galaxy tab and it finally gave up the ghost. The screen was fairly heavily cracked by then anyway. 

 

The tablet is running, we can here the screenshot sound, feel the vibrations of actions etc, but it just stays completely black.

 

They have a lot of Apps and videos etc on it, and getting the screen fixed would be preferable to buying a new one if possible.

 

About how much does it cost to get a new screen for a 10.1 Galaxy Tablet?

I would guestimate around 4k.

 

The only way to really know is to take it to a local phone shop repair guy.

I would advise getting the wife to do it. Farang face tends to move the decimal point.

Order it on line cheaper.  Then use YouTube and follow step by step.  Save yourself some baht

Probably best (cost, modern hardware, more current Android ver) to just get  new budget tablet.

 

After two Samsung 10.1's I moved to Teclast.

 

Apps can be reinstalled automagically, data can be backed-up/restored.

 

If you do replace the screen consider replacing the battery as well, while the case is opened.
