I have a Yamaha 155cc NNax 2021 model.

The bike won't start this morning as the battery voltage have drop to 9.2.

The Yamaha dealership said I needed a new battery as the life span of a battery in Thailand is only 1 year due to the hot weather.

Have anyone had the same problem with they battery after only 12 month's ?

New battery wasn't experience 750B.

Many make a mistake of buying batteries from dealers every year.

If you want one that lasts 3-5 years get a OD gel battery from Lazada 530 baht or if you can use 5amp get a Chang battery from Lazada at 215 baht.

As others have said a battery should last 3years, the 3 Waves we have had are all 3 years for a battery .

Check the terminals are clean  and tight .and the earth strap ,dirty  or lose terminals could prevent the battery from charging .

The ones I have replaced are about 550 baht, from my local shop.

You were probably just unlucky, usually batteries last longer than that, in my experience about 3 years.

Yes, my old Yamaha does about 3 years on average. Might depend on usage  too. The OP may not know how old the battery actually is.... I would not put it past a dealer or seller to swap out a new one for old.
