dayo202
I have a Yamaha 155cc NNax 2021 model. The bike won't start this morning as the battery voltage have drop to 9.2. The Yamaha dealership said I needed a new battery as the life span of a battery in Thailand is only 1 year due to the hot weather. Have anyone had the same problem with they battery after only 12 month's ? New battery wasn't experience 750B.
Kwasaki
Many make a mistake of buying batteries from dealers every year. If you want one that lasts 3-5 years get a OD gel battery from Lazada 530 baht or if you can use 5amp get a Chang battery from Lazada at 215 baht.
Fab5BKK
I live in Thailand. I bought my Nmax in Feb 2016... and I replaced the original battery in Aug 2021. YMMV ???? Edited April 17, 2022 by Fab5BKK
Popular Post FriendlyFarang
You were probably just unlucky, usually batteries last longer than that, in my experience about 3 years.
kickstart
As others have said a battery should last 3years, the 3 Waves we have had are all 3 years for a battery . Check the terminals are clean and tight .and the earth strap ,dirty or lose terminals could prevent the battery from charging . The ones I have replaced are about 550 baht, from my local shop. Yes, my old Yamaha does about 3 years on average. Might depend on usage too. The OP may not know how old the battery actually is.... I would not put it past a dealer or seller to swap out a new one for old. Edited May 11, 2022 by jacko45k
Namplik
On our 2016 Click, the battery lastet about five years.
