Popular Post FridgeMagnet1
Made an appointment for 13:00 and glad I did as it was quite busy and I got sent to the front of the queue. After the doc check I got given an blue ticket (everyone else had a yellow one) and was sent straight into the room where the IOs were processing everyone. 3 IOs on today including the dragon and was absolutely dreading being seen her as I’ve seen her shouting at folk before and my heart sunk as my number came up at her desk. but she was in a good mood, my forms were all correctly filled in and she didn’t ask me anything, just processed my paperwork. Went back to the waiting area and got my passport back in about 10 mins. disappointed to only get the 30 day “under consideration stamp” (I previously got the full 60 days) In and out in an hour. 2 1
audaciousnomad
Thanks for the report. Glad it went okay. Wow...disappointing to hear that they are back to doing Under Consideration stamps in Bangkok. And worse yet...it's 30 days to come back, it used to be 10-15 days UC. ???? Do you have to come back on that exact day or X amount of days before? also is there another 1900 fee? they didn’t explain any of this
audaciousnomad
That day, not earlier. No other fee.

paulbrow
I'm curious as to what services are available at Lak Si. For instance can you get a certificate of residence there? Thanks in advance for your input. Only short term extensions for visa exempt entries are done at Laksi. The counters for 90 day reports, TM30 reports and certificates of residency moved to Chaeng Wattana.

But still sounds better than Jomtien where they now keep your passport each visit, so a single stamp requires FOUR visits. 1 1
