The Tourism Authority of Thailand said that Songkran brought in 500 million baht to the local economy. All flights into the island on Bangkok Airways were full with many foreign tourists arriving. Hotels were also full. YouTuber Dr Sunil and his family also came. The celebs continued to arrive yesterday with YouTubers Bie The Ska and Geno The Snack arriving at the airport. Bie said he was attracted by the beauty of the island and its music and this was his fifth visit, while Geno said this was his first time.
